Every parent wants the best for their child. Sometimes, out of love and concern, we encourage them to choose the career we believe is best for them.
But our children are not here to live the dreams we could not fulfil. They have their own interests, abilities, personalities, and aspirations. When we push children into careers they don't connect with, they may achieve success on paper but feel unhappy, unmotivated, or disconnected from their work.
Our role as parents is not to decide their destination. It is to help them discover their strengths, understand their options, and make informed choices — something parental counselling can help families navigate together.
“Guide their journey. Don't control their destination.
